Gravetye Path 2

Path beside the buildings at Home Farm

Accessible for some wheelchairs
A good tarmac surface with gradients up to 10% and crossfalls up to 3%. Part of the road is shared with vehicles, but this is restricted to residents living near Home Farm. The road is 3 metres wide, not wide enough for vehicles to safely pass a wheelchair. There are passing places on the section shared with residential traffic every 50 metres at Home Farm, Gravetye Farmhouse, and The Nest, though here the path cross fall rises to 11% and so may be difficult for wheelchairs to use. There are no passing places on the 80 metre stretch between The Nest and the junction with Path 9 and 13, but the traffic here is restricted to forestry staff, and so journeys are infrequent. If this changes then there are places where wheelchairs and vehicles could not pass safely. There is a speed bump on the road.

This is approximately 170 metres long with a surface
The narrowest point: 300 cm wide
