At the Path 27/31/33 junction this is a 3 metre wide forest track which is very muddy and would be quite soggy to walk when wet, evidenced by deep boot prints. Highest path gradient is about 8%. Cross fall to one side up to 20%. Compacted mud, which becomes soft in wet weather and forms ruts exceed 10cm in dry weather. Path narrows to 1 metres towards the Vowels Lane car park, but with a 1 metre usable verge for passing.
