Gravetye Path 50

Steep start to the soft mud and grass path

Not wheelchair accessible
Path starts from the Path 14 end with a short 20% gradient drop to the muddy grass path. Evidence to suggest the path will be very wet during winter and therefore not passable by wheelchairs. One particularly rough/muddy patch has been covered with stones, branches, rocks and bricks to reduce the mud (TQ36882 34360). Path gradient about 4% and cross fall about 2%. The trodden/ mown path in the grass is about 1.5m wide which extends to 2m wide for passing with usable verge, though there is a deep tyre groove to the non-stream side of the path which could cause wheelchairs to tip. Uneven path which could get muddy near a tributary with a pipe under the path (TQ36728 34275). Also un-fenced drop to the stream at this point.

This is approximately 260 metres long with a , surface
The narrowest point: 1.51 cm wide
Steepest gradient: 20% (1:5)
