The path leaves the main path (path 12) with a 13% incline and 50cm soft mud surface edged by vegetation and with exposed tree roots. At TQ 36631 34959 there are fallen trees and laid branches to reduce soft mud patches. Path is regularly blocked by fallen trees. After the initial slope there are no gradients over 10%. Cross falls are between 3% and 5%, though the path is uneven so incidental cross fall will be higher.
