Gravetye Path 102

Path begins from Lower Lake with a wide concrete surface

Not wheelchair accessible
From path 6 this path has a concrete slab surface which is 2 metres wide, with gradients up to 10% and cross falls up to 2%. After the slab the concrete is broken and the path becomes two vehicle tracks, a 1 metre wide concrete central reservation, and a camber creating cross falls of up to 10%. The path then becomes two narrow soft mud and stone tracks about 50cm wide each with a vegetated central reservation. There is a short section of bricks and at TQ 36649 34015 there is a small trench, with cross falls of up to 15%, created by rainwater run off. There is a 15% gradient to the meadow. Once on the meadow, the path follows a mown and trodden path with cross falls up to 20% and gradients up to 25%, though not for periods longer than 10 metres. Path stops at the junction with paths 100, 103, 108, 109 where the surface has been damaged by forest machinery.

This is approximately 460 metres long with a , , surface
The narrowest point: 0.5 cm wide
