Challenging for wheelchairs
In summer 2025 the bridge was replaced with a flat deck and good rails. From The Kingscote side the gradient from the path to the bridge deck is about 17%. The deck has a gradient of 5% and a cross fall of up to 4%. On the Home Farm side the slope from the path to the deck is 9%. The deck is 230 cm wide, about 320cm long and is about 1.2 metres above a stream.
