From the lower end the path begins with a gradient of 12.5% for a couple of meters, then the gradient is between 10% and 11%, until the last 2 metres to the road, which has a gradient of 18%. The cross fall on the concrete slabs is about 1 to 2%. Where the concrete is broken the cross fall is up to about 5%. The surface is flat concrete, broken and uneven in some places, but this is avoidable.
