At the Kingscote Driveway the path passes through a broken fence gap. It is little walked, there is no sign post and could be missed. The path is considerably overgrown and fallen trees reduce the head height to one metre. The path is more visible in the woods, but is easy to miss. In some places there is a flat compacted mud surface which is up to 2 metres wide. There are many fallen trees obstructing the path and walkers have created many diversion paths. About mid way vegetation is tall and narrows the path to about 40cm. Gradient varies up to about 9% and the cross fall up to 4%.
