Part of the path is not mapped - possibly a desire line from the path beside Vowels Lane to avoid fallen trees. At the Path 27 end there is a 20% drop and 40% rise through a ditch. The surface is uneven and compacted mud, with muddy patches and exposed tree roots. Fallen trees obstruct the path. Gradient up to 13%. There is a 27% rise to Vowels Lane, where the path emerges directly onto the road.
