Path starts with a steep and uneven section from the path 41/43/56/57 junction where the usable path is about 60 cm. Gradient is about 25% down to the bridge, there are rocks on the path less than 10cm and sleepers cause an obstruction on the right hand side, cross fall up to 20%. Steep slop off the bridge, but soon levels off to about 5%. Path surface is soft mud, covered with leaf litter and branches. Head height restriction 2m. Vegetation narrows the path to 50 cm briefly, but mostly the path is 2m wide or has passing places.
