Challenging for wheelchairs
The surface is a stone and mud track with most stones under 4cm and many loose stones on the surface, making the path slippery. The upper path, between the road by the Manor and the gate, is 140cm wide, with no passing places, maximum gradient of 10% and maximum crossfall of 6%. To the right of the path is a drop to a ditch, which is obscured by vegetation – wheelchairs seeking to pass may attempt to use his verge and tip. The lower path, between the gate and the bridge between the lakes, has a 25-metre-long slope with maximum gradient of 20% and 8% cross fall. The loose stone, slippery surface can cause difficulty underfoot on the slopes. There are no breaks in the slopes and no handrails. Between the bridge and the gate to Path 6 there is a short section with a loose surface, gradient of 15% and a cross fall up to 5%.
This Footpath is approximately 270 metres long with a Gravel/ stones (mostly under 4cm) surface
The narrowest point: 140 cm wideSteepest gradient: 20% (1:5)
