From Path 4 (Manor Driveway) this path passes through the staff car park. There are no obvious signs to suggest public right of way. There are signs saying 'Private Property.' Path is tarmac, over 5.5 metres wide, gradients up to 9% and cross fall up to 5%. At TQ 36227 34098 the path changes to lose stones, up to about 4 cm. A drainage feature causes an obstacle with a short 40% edge. Path is 2.5 metres wide, gradients up to 9%, cross fall about 5% but uneven, so incidentally higher. Beyond the gate gradients are up to 10% and cross fall is up to 20% (avoidable) due to tire grooves on the left-hand side. After the junction with path 61 the surface changes to two lines of concrete slabs with gravel, mud or grass in-between. Gradient is about 17%, path width is about 2.5 metres. Concrete slabs are 60 cm wide with a 90cm gap in-between. After the junction with path 62 the surface changes to two lines of tarmac with a muddy central reservation, gradient is about 8%. At TQ 35981 33872 path surface changes to two lines of gravel with a grass and mud central reservation. The path is shared with vehicles, there are potential passing places where the path and usable verge increase to 5.5 metres wide between 50 metres and 230 metres apart.
