Path is a forest track with a soft mud surface with large rocks, tire ruts and rain water run off channels. From the Hastings Wood end the track is about 3.5 metres wide, with gradients up to 15% and cross falls up to 10%. Tire grooves in a soft mud surface reduce the path's usable width to about 80cm in places. An extreme off road chair would likely manage this path, Tramper style may struggle.
