From path 89 the entrance to this path is overgrown by ferns and thorns for about 5 metres, after which the path is about a metre wide, reasonably flat and clear with cross falls up to 10% and gradients up to 12%. Some branches on the path and some overgrowth narrowing the path to 50cm. At the bend at TQ 36655 32939 the path becomes less distinct and difficult to identify the line of the path. It is possible to find a trodden path again, where there is a short section of 30% gradient to a ditch. There is a trodden way which joins path 84.
